Meet the Captain

Captain Rick McGaffey is one of the most talented fishermen in Galveston with over 20 years of experience with offshore and bay fishing. He commercial fishes in addition to chartering and competes in fishing tournaments. Rick knows the special spots and the Gulf by the back of his hand. You can expect to catch Red Snapper, Ling, Kingfish, Dorado, or any thing that is out there…and yes we mean anything. Rick received his United States Coast Guard License (USCG) in 1985 and holds a commercial fishing permit issued by the National Marine Fisheries and the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. He is a fun loving guy and, in our opinion, the best captain for the job.
